Products
The Teilex product range comprises seven categories covering suspension, steering, brakes and belt drive. All parts are manufactured to OE specifications and undergo systematic quality inspections – from raw material to finished product.
Control arms
Control arms guide the wheel and provide the articulated connection between the wheel carrier and the subframe or body – they largely determine toe, camber and driving stability. Worn bushings or joints reveal themselves through knocking noises on uneven roads, imprecise steering response and uneven tyre wear. Teilex control arms are manufactured to OE specifications and, depending on the version, are supplied ready to install with bushings and ball joint.
Ball joints
The ball joint connects the control arm and the wheel carrier as an articulated spherical joint, transmitting wheel and steering forces. Wear shows up as clicking noises when steering, noticeable play in the wheel guidance and, at an advanced stage, a safety risk should the joint fail. Teilex ball joints rely on wear-resistant bearing shells, permanently lubricated ball studs and robust sealing boots to OE specification.
Tie rods & axial joints
Tie rods and axial joints transmit the steering movement from the steering gear to the wheels and maintain the adjusted wheel alignment. Typical wear symptoms are a vague steering feel, misaligned tracking and tyres worn on one side. Teilex manufactures tie rods, tie rod ends and axial joints to OE specifications with precise joints and secured threaded connections.
Stabilizer links
Stabilizer links connect the anti-roll bar to the axle or suspension strut, reducing body roll in corners. Worn stabilizer links give themselves away through rattling or knocking on uneven roads, especially at low speed. Teilex stabilizer links are manufactured to OE specifications and fitted with durable joints and sealing boots.
Rubber-to-metal bushings
Rubber-to-metal bushings provide the elastic mounting for control arms, subframes and other chassis components, decoupling vibrations and rolling noise from the body. Aged or cracked bushings lead to knocking noises, vibrations and imprecise handling. Teilex bushings combine defined rubber compounds with precisely machined metal sleeves to OE specification – for the intended stiffness and a long service life.
Brakes (discs & pads)
Brake discs and brake pads convert kinetic energy into heat, making them the most safety-critical wear parts on a vehicle. Fading brake performance, longer stopping distances, judder in the pedal or squealing are clear signs that replacement is due. Teilex brake discs and pads are manufactured to OE specifications and tested for dimensional accuracy, material quality and friction behaviour.
Vibration dampers
Vibration dampers – also known as torsional vibration dampers or damper pulleys – sit on the crankshaft and drive the belt system. A rubber damping element between hub and inertia ring absorbs the engine's torsional vibrations, protecting the crankshaft, belt and auxiliary units. Wear shows up as engine vibration, noise from the belt drive, cracks in the rubber or a wobbling pulley. Teilex vibration dampers are manufactured to OE specifications and tested for concentricity and damping performance.
