Privacy Policy
The German version of this privacy policy is the legally binding version.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Teilex Germany GmbH, represented by its Managing Director Cengiz Göcer, Wersauer Weg 9, 64405 Fischbachtal, Germany.
Phone: +49 6166 933434, e-mail: info@teilex-germany.de.
2. General information
This website is a purely informational site about the Teilex Germany brand and its products. It contains no online shop, no login area and no contact form.
When you merely visit the site, no data is transferred to third parties: we do not integrate any external content delivery networks or web fonts (e.g. Google Fonts); all content is delivered from our own server. The only third-party service we use is the statistics service Google Analytics 4 – exclusively if you have given your explicit consent beforehand (see section 6).
3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, our web server (Apache) automatically records technical access data in so-called server log files. These include: the IP address of the requesting device, date and time of access, the page or file accessed, the amount of data transferred, a status message on successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer).
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the fault-free operation of the website, defending against attacks and analysing technical errors.
The log files are deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest. They are not merged with other data sources or evaluated for marketing purposes.
4. Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, content of your enquiry) solely to handle your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing your request and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies and local storage (localStorage)
By default, this website does not set any cookies. Statistics cookies from Google Analytics 4 are only set if you have previously given your consent via the cookie notice (see section 6).
If you make a selection in the consent notice, we store only this decision locally in your browser (localStorage). This entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us or to third parties, and serves solely to avoid showing you the notice again on every visit.
This storage is technically necessary and is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete the entry at any time via your browser settings. Details can be found in our cookie policy.
6. Google Analytics 4
We use the statistics service Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PZT01DF4R4) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The purpose is audience measurement and the statistical analysis of how our website is used.
This processing is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG, which you give via the cookie notice in the "Statistics" category. Without your consent, the measurement script (gtag.js) is not loaded and no data whatsoever is transferred to Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "cookie settings" in the footer; measurement then stops immediately.
Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google. Any transfer of data to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified.
The retention period for the analytics data is 14 months. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_PZT01DF4R4; you can find details in our cookie policy. After withdrawal of consent, no new data is collected; cookies that have already been set expire automatically or can be deleted manually in your browser.
7. Online shop teilex.eu
Orders can be placed via our online shop at teilex.eu. The online shop is an independent service with its own privacy policy, which you can view there.
When you click a shop link, you leave this website. The shop's privacy provisions only apply once you access the shop; no personal data is passed from this website to the shop.
8. Your rights as a data subject
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights vis-à-vis us: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@teilex-germany.de is sufficient.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), P.O. Box 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.
10. Currency of this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website or changed legal requirements make this necessary. The version published on this page applies in each case.
