Ball joints

The ball joint connects the control arm and the wheel carrier as an articulated spherical joint, transmitting wheel and steering forces. Wear shows up as clicking noises when steering, noticeable play in the wheel guidance and, at an advanced stage, a safety risk should the joint fail. Teilex ball joints rely on wear-resistant bearing shells, permanently lubricated ball studs and robust sealing boots to OE specification.
