Vibration dampers

Vibration dampers – also known as torsional vibration dampers or damper pulleys – sit on the crankshaft and drive the belt system. A rubber damping element between hub and inertia ring absorbs the engine's torsional vibrations, protecting the crankshaft, belt and auxiliary units. Wear shows up as engine vibration, noise from the belt drive, cracks in the rubber or a wobbling pulley. Teilex vibration dampers are manufactured to OE specifications and tested for concentricity and damping performance.
